Categories

Categories group courses in the catalogue and give students a filter. A course belongs to at most one category.

Managing

Categories (Kategorie) is a single page with a table and modal forms.

• Create (Utwórz): enter a Name (Nazwa); the address slug (Adres) is generated from it, or type your own. The Description (Opis) is for your own notes — students do not see it.
• Edit (Edytuj): change any field. An existing category’s slug only changes when you change it yourself, so a link you shared keeps working.
• Reorder: click the arrows icon in the toolbar and drag rows. That order is the order of the categories in the catalogue’s filter column.
• Delete (Usuń): the courses in the category keep existing and simply lose their category.

The Courses (Kursy) column counts every course in the category, published or not. In the catalogue’s filter column a category appears only when it holds at least one published course, and shows that count.

Categories in several languages

Where the site speaks more than one language, the page header carries a language switcher: pick a language and you are editing that language’s Name (Nazwa) and Description (Opis) for the same category. A name you have not written yet falls back to another language rather than showing nothing.

The address (Adres) is not per language: it is one address, made from the name in the default language. See Languages.
